Procedure to check for early spread of melanoma to the lymph nodes.
This is a procedure to check for early spread of melanoma to the lymph nodes and involves identification of specific lymph nodes which are then removed for pathological examination.
It is performed under general anaesthetic and usually patients go home the same day.
